When birthdays and Christmas come around, the question always confronts us: What do I get them? What do they like or want? Try as we might to remember the things which our family and friends said they enjoy or desire, we always seem to forget those examples when we arrive at the moment of buying them a gift.
So we decided to solve the question—at least in our case—with this simple solution. We created a blog that would function as a sort of wishlist, where we would publish the things we like or want. And every post would be associated with one of our names, either David or Marianna; when you click on Marianna’s name, for example, you will see all the posts containing stuff that she wants, and thus you know what to get her and can be confident she will love it.
When we receive an item from our wishlists, whether it is bought for us as a gift or we buy it ourselves, we will remove it from this blog. That way you can be sure that if it is on this blog we don’t currently have it.
